What are E-MALES?

According to statistics, young males account for 70% of grades D and F in public school, make up two thirds of special education programs, and make up more than 70% of juvenile arrests a​cross the country. Approximately 16.4 million children are being raised by single mothers/grandmothers who are doing the best they can with what they have...but they could do more with our help. E-MALES is a mobile mentoring program for young men of all ages that comes to your school, ministry, group, and/or organization and presents interactive lessons and activities ​to teach practical skills, social skills, and goal setting strategies to equip them for navigating their pre-teen, teen, and young adult years.

Why "E-MALES"?

E-MALES is a program that highlights Education, Enlightenment, Empowerment Excellence, and Edification on the road to Emancipation. The title of the program is a play on the word “e-mail” which is a message distributed electronically from one computer to another. The E-MALEs aspire to become living messages of positivity and progress that will lead by their words, actions, and accomplishments.

How does E-MALES work?

E-MALES utilizes a series of age appropriate small group lessons, workshops, and interactive challenges that focus on how the Five Senses (Sight, Sound, Smell, Taste, Touch) are used by boys/young men in social situations, as well as used with regards to them in social situations. (exp. “Sight” lessons are centered on how the world sees the outward appearance as well as how young men should cater their actions according to accurate observations of what they see in the world).
